Magdalena Eriksson withdraws from the women's national team's upcoming Nations League gathering, announces the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) on its website.

Last Sunday, Eriksson's club team Bayern München played against FC Köln. The center back scored a goal in the 5–1 win, but also got a blow to the head and played with a bandage.

Now SvFF announces that the 32-year-old will miss the upcoming national team gathering, where Sweden will face Spain in a double match.

Amanda Nildén from Tottenham will replace her.

The national team will gather on Monday evening in Marbella ahead of the first semifinal in the Nations League against Spain, which will be played on Friday at 20.00 in Málaga.
