The following Swedes will have a chance to compete in the biathlon mixed relay at the Winter Olympics: Sebastian Samuelsson, Martin Ponsiluoma, Anna Magnusson and Hanna Öberg. Star Elvira Öberg is undergoing testing.

The team was presented at a press conference on Saturday, and the competition will be decided on Sunday in Antholz, starting at 2:05 p.m.

Surprisingly, Anna Magnusson secured a spot while Elvira Öberg was left out of the team. For national team coach Johannes Lukas, it's about tough competition.

"It is, of course, a very tight selection. Unfortunately we can only field one team," says Johannes Lukas, and he continues:

"Anna Magnusson has shown very good form and an upward trend."

Elvira Öberg is neither sick nor injured.

"Everyone is doing well. We have twelve active members here who are healthy and well," says Lukas.

Sweden has not won an Olympic medal in the mixed relay, finishing eleventh in 2018 and fourth in 2022.
