A good two-way player who may not have had his best offensive season but has had to play many defensive situations when Boston was still in the race, says Patric Hörnqvist, Tre Kronor's assistant general manager, to the newspaper.
The 30-year-old Brynäs product played all 82 matches for Boston during the season and scored 47 points.
He was also part of Tre Kronor during the Four Nations tournament in February.
Lindholm was an important player for us during the Four Nations and will be even more important for us during the home World Championship, says Hörnqvist.
Last time Lindholm played the World Championship with Tre Kronor was in 2019, when he scored six points in eight matches.
With the Boston center as a World Championship reinforcement, 15 NHL players have now said yes to the World Championship.
