Of those who were injured on electric scooters, almost half were young people and young adults under 25 years old.

"The accidents in the group of children and young people under 18 years old have increased the most compared to previous years, it's a worrying trend", says Khabat Amin, statistician at the Transport Agency in a press release.

Two-thirds of those who were injured on electric scooters were men. Single accidents accounted for more than 3 out of 4 accidents, and the remaining part were collision accidents with pedestrians and cyclists.
