Election committee proposes Simona Mohamsson be re-elected as Liberal Party leader

The Liberal Party's election committee proposes that Simona Mohamsson be re-elected as party leader at the extraordinary national meeting on Sunday.

"The nominations received, together with conversations we have had during the week with liberal representatives and party members across the country, show that there is support for Simona Mohamsson as party chair," says Lars Persson Skandevall, chairman of the nomination committee, in a press release.

There is currently no nominated opponent.
