Benjamin Ingrosso has already won four awards at the P3 Gold Gala a couple of weeks ago and now he gets another trophy to his prize cabinet. The song "Honey boy" is made together with Purple Disco Machine as well as Nile Rodgers and Shenseea.
The international equivalent of Ingrosso's prize goes to Chappell Roan for "Good luck babe". The song was also performed during the gala by the trio Alba August, Mariette Hansson, and Lisa Miskovsky.
The two "Drag race Sweden" participants Vanity Vain and Elecktra were awarded as the LGBTQ person of the year and the drag of the year, respectively. The film of the year became "As long as the heart beats" by Ella Lemhagen and the stage prize went to the over seven-hour-long theater performance "Heritage" by Matthew Lopez, which is played at the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm.
The Green Party member and former Minister of Culture Alice Bah Kuhnke was named the darling of the year at the gala, which will be broadcast on SVT1 on Saturday.
