A man in northeastern Skåne is sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated rape of a child, reports P4 Kristianstad.
The man has confessed to the crimes, which were committed at the home of the underage girl on several occasions last summer.
The man is employed by a Skåne municipality, where he has worked with children. The crimes he is convicted of are not related to his employment.
The municipality's education chief has previously stated to Kristianstadsbladet that the employment will be terminated in the event of a guilty verdict.
