Two drivers are charged with smuggling 140 kilos of cocaine into Sweden.

They were stopped in a check at the Öresund Bridge this summer, when they were found to have 31 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a storage compartment in a refrigerated trailer.

They are also suspected of having smuggled in 110 kilos of cocaine in April. The trip continued to the Stockholm area, where 80 kilos were unloaded. The rest was transported to an unknown location in Sweden or abroad, according to the indictment.

The men are charged with particularly serious drug smuggling.

A trial is already underway in Stockholm District Court against five additional people suspected of being involved in the smuggling, which is estimated to have had a turnover of several million, the Swedish Customs writes in a press release .

According to customs, this is an organization that extends from Spain to Sweden, whose sole purpose appears to be to trade drugs.
