Israel's military has carried out new intensive attacks on locations in Syria.
Dozens of air strikes took place within a few hours on Saturday evening, according to the UK-based conflict monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
61 rockets were fired at facilities used by the Assad regime's military, according to SOHR. Additionally, a series of air strikes occurred in several locations.
Israel has carried out more than 400 attacks on Syria during the week that has passed since the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad was overthrown in an Islamist-led offensive. According to Israeli claims, this has destroyed most of the capabilities that the former Syrian army had at its disposal.
