Done: This is how the draw for the Swedish Cup was made

The group stage for the Swedish Cup has been drawn. Swedish champions Mjällby and Häcken enter their groups as clear favorites.

The reigning champion Mjällby ended up in the same group on the men's side as relegated Värnamo, newcomer Kalmar FF and Örgryte, who are qualifying for the Allsvenskan.

Häcken will face AIK, relegated Linköping and Division 1 team Gefle on the women's side.

Häcken is the reigning cup champion on the men's side and was given a difficult draw with two Allsvenskan rivals in AIK and newcomer Västerås SK and Oddevold.

Women's champion Hammarby will face Vittsjö, Rosengård and Växjö in the group stage.

Only the group winner advances on both the men's and women's sides.

The men's group stage will be played February 20-March 9 and the women's group stage will be played February 13-March 16.

The groups, gentlemen:

Group 1: Mjällby, Värnamo, Kalmar FF, Örgryte.

Group 2: Hammarby, Öster, Brage, Örebro.

Group 3: Gais, IFK Norrköping, Landskrona, Sandviken.

Group 4: IFK Gothenburg, Degerfors, Trelleborg, Östersund.

Group 5: Djurgården, Brommapojkarna, Falkenberg, IFK Skövde.

Group 6: Malmö FF, Halmstad, Varberg, Karlstad.

Group 7: AIK, Häcken, Västerås SK, Oddevold.

Group 8: Elfsborg, Sirius, Gif Sundsvall, Helsingborg.

The group winners advance to the quarterfinals, which will be played on March 14-15. The semifinals will be played on March 21-22 and the final on May 14.

The groups, ladies:

Group 1: Häcken, AIK, Linköping, Gefle.

Group 2: Hammarby, Vittsjö, Rosengård, Växjö.

Group 3: Malmö FF, Kristianstad, Umeå, Piteå.

Group 4: Djurgården, IFK Norrköping, Alingsås, Brommapojkarna.

The group winners will advance to the semi-finals on March 21-22 and the final will be played on May 16.
