Detroit has opened the NHL season strongly and has after an initial loss now lined up the wins.
Last year's Stanley Cup champion Florida ended up early in a two-goal deficit, after the puck was deflected via Swedish Gustav Forsling's stick in five against three. Detroit managed to hold on and set the point via two pucks in an empty net in the final minutes.
Lucas Raymond could only watch as his Detroit impressed. The Swede was forced to step off with an upper body injury in Monday's match against Toronto, after a tackle by Chris Tanev. Updates on Raymond's injury have been sparse this week, but according to the NHL's website, he is being continuously evaluated.
