Falling wreckage from Ukrainian drones caused fires at an oil depot and an oil tanker in the Russian port city of Taganrog, Rostov region governor Yuri Slusar said.
Authorities in the neighboring Krasnodar region simultaneously reported that a fire broke out at an oil depot in the city of Armavir after a drone attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that a facility in Armavir had been attacked, describing it as the latest example of how Ukrainian forces now have the ability to regularly strike targets inside Russia.
"We are rightly taking the war back to where it came from," he wrote in a post on X.
