Overnight, the temperature in Isenvad, in central Jutland, Denmark, dropped to minus 18.8 degrees Celsius, the lowest January temperature in the country since 2003, reports Danish TV2.
It is also the lowest winter temperature recorded in the country since 2021.
In Copenhagen, ice has formed in several places and the rescue service has warned that it is still dangerous to go onto the ice, but so far no serious accidents have been reported.
