At least five people have lost their lives and around fifty have been injured in a Russian robot attack on the eastern Ukrainian city of Izyum. Among the injured is a 15-year-old girl.
The information comes from the governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleh Synehubov, who writes on Telegram that several people are being treated in hospital after the attack.
Izyum is located southeast of the city of Kharkiv and had around 44,000 inhabitants before the outbreak of war. The city was occupied by Russia for a few months in 2022 and has suffered significant destruction during the ongoing war that began almost three years ago.
