The Children's Rights Organization Majblomman sets a sales record in a row for the third year. In three weeks, children all over Sweden have sold May flowers for 103 million kronor – an increase of twelve million compared to last year.

The record is set despite a shaky start to sales, with a delayed delivery due to global unrest.

"We are particularly impressed by the children, who had to start with fewer May flowers than usual and still made their best effort ever", says Majblomman's Secretary-General Åse Henell in a press release.

This year's May flower, inspired by a buttercup, is designed by twelve-year-old Nellie Philton from Gothenburg, who thinks you get energy and becomes happy with the yellow color.
