When the gala is held on Monday, the minister will not be in the audience - she will instead speak at the Gastronomic Academy's awards ceremony, together with, among others, the King and Visit Sweden CEO Susanne Andersson.
At last year's Guldbagge Gala, presenter Shima Niavarani took the opportunity to give the then Minister of Culture and the government's film policy a thumbs-up. However, the review board later found that the segments were "of a light-hearted nature" and could not be considered to violate the requirements of impartiality.
