Romania's Constitutional Court approves the first round of the country's presidential election.
The second round will be held on December 8.
Last week, vote counters across Romania sat down and began recounting all votes in the disputed presidential election.
When the result was presented, it was a surprise. The NATO-critical Russian friend Calin Georgescu received the most votes, followed by liberal Elena Lasconi, mayor of the small town of Campulung. Thus, none of the pre-favourites made it to the second round.
