The two men in Germany who were convicted of terror plans against the Swedish parliament are appealing their sentences, announces the court in German Jena.
The two were sentenced last week to five and a half and four years and two months in prison, respectively.
The men, who are Afghan citizens but resident in Germany, were arrested in March last year. According to the prosecutor, they have links to the Afghanistan-based IS Khorasan and were in contact with the terrorist group about carrying out an attack on the parliament as revenge for the Quran burnings in Sweden.
