A conscript got reduced sensation in the finger during a winter exercise. Now he is being compensated with 102,000 kronor, reports SVT Dalarna.
It was during an exercise at the shooting range in Älvdalen in Dalarna that the man is said to have frostbitten his finger, with symptoms such as reduced sensation and cold sensitivity as a result.
It is the Kammarkollegiet, which, among other things, handles insurance cases for the Defence Forces, that now decides that the man should be compensated.
