After cold May days without any real spring warmth, the weather now seems to be turning, especially after the weekend.
During the start of next week, it can get around 20 degrees in parts of Götaland. Up over western Svealand, it can get 22-23 degrees, says Johan Wiksten, meteorologist at SMHI.
Even in the north, you can count on warmth.
In Umeå, it can get around 17 degrees on Tuesday, he says.
It has been several degrees colder than normal at the beginning of May.
If you think it has felt chilly in May, that's completely right. It has been two-three degrees colder than normal. Actually, it's only parts around Vänern that have had normal temperatures.
But the early summer warmth is not here to stay. Already in the middle of next week, it will get cooler again.
It's a bit tricky in the second half of next week where we end up. We might get a return to slightly cooler air, but if we're lucky, it can get a bit milder and maybe around 15 degrees in large parts of the country, he says.
