Leyton Orient usually belongs to the middle tier of League One, the English third division in football.

But despite this, the London team showed no respect for the four-time reigning Premier League champion Manchester City.

In the 16th minute, 20-year-old Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley looked up, saw that City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega was far out, and tested his luck just a few meters into the offensive half.

A good decision, it would turn out, and the third-division team surprisingly took the lead. Donley's finish hit the crossbar, but bounced into the goal via Ortega.

And even though Leyton Orient stood up, and kept their zero intact for a long time, City would ultimately be too heavy.

When Kevin De Bruyne tapped in 2–1 with just over ten minutes left, coach Pep Guardiola could breathe a sigh of relief and conclude that his men avoided an early exit from the FA Cup.
