Last term, Stockholm Region had a minority government consisting of the Social Democrats, the Centre Party and the Green Party, in collaboration with the Left Party.
Last week, S, C and MP announced that they had instead begun negotiations with the Christian Democrats and the Liberals "to create a robust government for the upcoming term."
Several media outlets are now reporting that KD has chosen to leave the negotiations.
