China's defense budget will increase by 7 percent in 2026, according to the country's Ministry of Finance.
According to AFP, the increase in military spending is in line with expectations, and the annual military budget corresponds to approximately SEK 2,538 billion.
The country thus spends the second-most on its military in the world, after the United States.
