The children's cardigan "Melina star" is being recalled because the buttons can come loose, which could pose a life-threatening risk to small children, writes the Swedish Consumer Agency.

If the buttons get stuck in the throat of small children, it could lead to suffocation.

The cardigan was sold in Lager 157's stores and online during July-September this year. The recalled garments are in sizes 90-160 cl with article number 16375.

The retailer is urging customers to return the shirt to the store for a refund.
