It's getting close to the autumn break for school kids and soon it'll be time to book a vacation trip for Christmas and New Year's.
Forex has something they call the Vacation Index (Semesterindex), where they list the cheapest countries for Swedes to vacation in, where you get the most for your money. In the Forex Vacation Index, they've compared costs in 96 countries to Sweden. Sweden has an index of 100, so a lower index number means cheaper and a higher index number means more expensive destinations. Our Scandinavian neighbor Iceland ranks among the top 5 most expensive destinations.
