The satire series made a parody of the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk before he was murdered and the episode was stopped from being re-aired. Now Kirk's producer says it should be aired again, according to among others NME.

In the episode "Got a nut" from the latest season of "South Park", the character Eric Cartman becomes a conservative debater at American universities, with the same hairstyle and manner as Charlie Kirk. He also wins a prize called "Charlie Kirk award for young masterdebaters".

After the conservative commentator was murdered on September 10, the episode from August 6 was removed from the rerun schedule by the channel Comedy Central. However, the episode remains on the streaming service Paramount+.

Andrew Kolvet, Kirk's producer, wrote on X that Kirk himself appreciated the parody:

"Charlie loved that he was in South Park. He told me that many times. He would want the episode to be put up again."
