"The cooperation agreement, which bears the name Gálddije-lïhttuo, establishes a common political direction and a stable majority that will strengthen Sami self-determination and develop the work of the Sami Parliament over the next four years," the new majority writes in a press release.
Marianne Gråik, leader of the largest party, the Sami Landspartiet, is expected to become the chairwoman of the Sami Parliament, although she says the election is not yet complete.
"It's probably quite natural, we're the largest party," she tells Samiradion.
A so-called government statement will be presented in the next few days, she says.
