The concert will take place in Kiruna center and among other artists are, among others, KAJ, Kiruna Gospel choir and the Sami choir.
"Carola has a unique ability to touch, and with her presence she puts an extra gold edge on the celebration of the move", says Stefan Holmblad Johansson, project manager at LKAB in a press release.
The move, which begins the day before, will be live streamed on the web and is described by LKAB as "a world-unique event".
With a width of 40 meters and a weight of 600 tons, the church will also be the largest building to be moved in the community transformation that is taking place in Kiruna due to the mining.
The church will be loaded onto a trailer and moved in its entirety. The road has been widened to make it possible.
