Several people were injured when a car drove into a group of people in the city of Passau in southern Germany. The police have arrested the 48-year-old driver.
The drama occurred at 15:30 on Saturday. Five people were taken to hospital after the incident, writes Passauer Neue Presse.
Four of them have minor injuries while one is slightly more seriously injured, writes the newspaper Bild.
Among the injured are the man's wife and five-year-old daughter. According to the police, a custody dispute may be behind the incident.
The police further state that it is not possible to rule out that the man, who was arrested on the spot, deliberately drove into the people.
