Cancels course to make money, gets no help from Swedish Consumer Agency

Anyone who regrets buying an online course aimed at making money will be left without help from the Swedish Consumer Agency, reports Dagens Nyheter.

Expensive courses are circulating on social media promising ways to make money from online marketing. The courses attract thousands of buyers - but are criticized for failing to deliver on their promises, reports DN, which has investigated the phenomenon.

The Swedish Consumer Agency has received reports from people who regret buying such courses. The agency has decided that anyone who purchases such a course is considered a businessperson and not a consumer, and therefore cannot receive assistance. The fact that the course was purchased as a private individual does not matter.
