The Mc-gang Comanches in Denmark were in conflict with a Swedish criminal network and were accused of having stolen narcotics, reports DR.
When the 16-year-old boy from Sweden arrived in Denmark on April 12 last year, he had, according to the prosecutor, been given the task of shooting one or more people at Comanches' clubhouse in Brøndby in Copenhagen.
Cycled to the clubhouse
During the trial, the prosecutor states that he was accommodated in an apartment, equipped with two pistols, gloves, and a bicycle. According to the indictment, he cycled the 15 kilometers to the clubhouse first, but no one was there. The next day, he made another attempt, but was stopped by the police.
A 21-year-old Swedish man who is being held in custody as a suspect for recruiting young Swedes for several planned crimes in Denmark is also suspected of involvement here. He is allowed to attend and listen during the trial in Frederiksbergs District Court, but the suspicions against him will be tried later in another trial.
"A pawn in a game"
The Swedish 16-year-old's defense attorney Kåre Traberg Smidt says to the court that one can see the teenager as a pawn in a game, reports DR.
The attorney highlights other messages on the boy's mobile phone, which indicate that he wanted to return to Sweden. Among other things, the 16-year-old has written that he misses Sweden and that he must go home.
According to NRK, the boy has also been of interest to Norwegian police in connection with the investigation of a shooting in Oslo in February last year. The investigation against him was later dropped since the boy had already returned to Sweden before the shooting.
