Too much of the election campaign is about political games, believes KD leader Ebba Busch on X. She writes that she is running in a “blue and yellow” team but that she is not negotiating before the election.
"The first day of negotiations is election day. It is the voters who must first set the direction," she writes.
Six months ago, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) announced that as prime minister, in the event of a Tidö victory, he would allow the SD into the government.
Busch, who has previously criticized the move, writes that a "blue-yellow" government could consist of "4, 3, 2 or 1 party."
"For me, for example, it is not a given that SD will have any ministerial posts at all," she writes.
SD leader Jimmie Åkesson responds on X that his message about ministerial posts remains:
"After Sunday's election, the Sweden Democrats are either a government party or an opposition party. Given that public opinion appears to be turning in favor of the blue-yellow team, it is the left-wing flirtation of other parties that currently looks like the biggest threat to a blue-yellow government," he writes.
