Ebba Busch is furious at the Moderates' way of treating the Christian Democrats. It is a way of acting that I refuse to submit to, she says.

Busch accuses M of speaking badly about KD in background conversations with the media and of sending representatives to sow division and uncertainty about where KD is.

"You can't act this way. And not towards the only person you've been able to trust for the last ten years," says Busch.

The argument began when Busch, in an interview with SvD, opened up about settling with the Social Democrats on crucial issues if there are turbulent times after the election.

The KD leader also said that she does not like to be "taken for granted" by any party.

But she also made it clear that she wants to see the Tidö parties in power for four more years.

Threatens

When I give an independent statement on behalf of KD on Monday - four more years for Tidö but that we should be able to make broad agreements with S that are good for Sweden - then they are threatening, quote, to go out and destroy our voter base.

MUF chairman Douglas Thor warned in an SR interview that KD will leave the Riksdag if the party shows uncertainty about support for M leader Ulf Kristersson as prime minister.

They are a party that remains in parliament solely because of moderate support votes, he said.

Municipal councilor Christian Sonesson (M) also criticized KD.

Now that they have followed through on the threat they gave us on Monday, that they would speak badly about us in the media and send out moderates to sow uncertainty around us, then I will tell you what kind of moderate leadership style I refuse to submit to, says Busch.

She does not want to elaborate on what she means by "the threat" or whether it is Kristersson's "leadership style" she is referring to.

Not the first time

This is not the first time M has treated KD this way, according to Busch.

I have pointed this out internally several times before and that is why I say: don't take me for granted, she says.

According to Busch, it is a "very high threshold" for her to now mark the line she draws for M's actions:

I'm doing it because it's the only way to, so to speak, wrest this weapon out of their hands.

Busch does not go into the other occasions on which she believes M has treated KD badly. But the two parties have been in conflict over the closure of BB in Sollefteå and the new gender identity law, among other things.

Can a voter who votes for KD be sure that it is a vote for a bourgeois government with Kristersson as prime minister?

A vote for KD is a vote for four more years with Tidö, says Busch.

Ulf Kristersson dismisses Busch's criticism and thinks the collaboration is working well.

"We don't speak badly about each other in any way," he says.
