At least seven more were injured in the Russian attacks on Kherson, local authorities said.
According to the region's governor, Oleksandr Prokudin, several of the injured were on their way to work when Russia attacked around 7 a.m. Saturday.
“All those affected were civilians, and the Russians were fully aware of that,” wrote President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on X.
Russian attacks were also reported in Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih and Odesa early Saturday.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia has fired around 1,600 attack drones, almost 1,100 guided aerial bombs and three missiles against Ukraine this week.
