Andersson has been the sports director of the men's team since 2013 and, before that, was club director from 1999 to 2008.
"It's clear that it's emotional. I was here as a player back in 1994. It's been a fantastic journey," says Andersson.
He made his position available in May last year, but chairman Erik Gozzi says he asked Andersson to stay for two transfer windows until now.
Since Djurgården changed its CEO and chairman, Andersson says he was prepared for the end.
During his years at Djurgården, Bosse Andersson has won four Swedish championships and four Swedish Cup titles, and reached the Conference League semi-finals against Chelsea last season and the round of 16 two years earlier.
