A man in Skellefteå who manufactured splitter bombs is sentenced to five years in prison, local media reports.
The bombs were intended to be used in a planned explosion at a restaurant in Umeå. The police became aware of the plans after a secret chat group was infiltrated.
In December, two explosive charges were found in a container in Skellefteå. Three additional explosive charges were found in a garage at the man's residence.
He is now convicted of a serious crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods. He is also sentenced for drug offenses.
