This is now the sixth application for state aid that the government has received.
"It is good that we have received another application. It shows that the business community is prepared to invest in the baseload power that is so important to Sweden and that our support model is working as intended," says Minister for Financial Markets Niklas Wykman (M) in a press release.
Blykalla has previously also applied for financial support for a nuclear power project outside Gävle.
