Playoff-ready Boston came out strong from the start. After the first period, the visitors had scored a whopping 53 points - the second most ever in the NBA. At halftime, Boston led 80–57.
Pelle Larsson accounted for 18 points and Miami made a late push, but victory was never really threatened for Boston, which has won ten of its last eleven games.
