"It feels really good to have a podium finish, but at the same time it's a bit sad to lose such a good position as I had," Jutterström told SVT.
Jutterström led the race by 15.5 seconds with around seven kilometers to go, but the chasing pack gradually took the lead.
Norwegian Johan Hoel won the sprint battle ahead of compatriot Johan Tjelle.
Norwegian Astrid Øyre Slind won the women's race in dominant fashion. Hanna Lodin was the top Swede in fourth (+1.56).
The long-distance race ends on Sunday - also in Norway - with the 60-kilometer Summit 2 Senja.
