After the mass shooting at Bondi Beach, Australia is now tightening its gun laws.

On Tuesday, the Australian parliament voted through both tougher gun laws and tougher rules on hate crimes.

A mass shooting took place in the Sydney suburb of Bondi Beach on December 14th during a Hanukkah celebration. A total of 15 people were killed and 40 were injured in the incident.

A father and his son are suspected of carrying out the attack and are alleged to have been inspired by ISIS. The father was killed in connection with the attack.
