A video recording showed Netanyahu, wearing a protective vest, standing with masked Israeli soldiers at the front line.
"The war continues and includes a security zone in Lebanon," Netanyahu said in the video.
"We note that we have succeeded in crushing the threat of an invasion from Lebanon through this security zone," Netanyahu continued, referring to areas that Israel has occupied in Lebanon. Standing next to him was Defense Minister Israel Katz.
Israeli attacks, mainly in southern Lebanon, took place on Sunday. Lebanon's NNA news agency said 30 sites had been attacked and several people had been killed.
