A number of people were injured in an Israeli attack on Friday in the Hawsh al-Sayyid Ali area on the Syrian-Lebanese border.
According to Lebanon’s state news agency NNA, the attack was a targeted drone strike on a car.
The Israeli military says it attacked a “Syrian terrorist” hired by the Iranian regime who was planning to carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers operating in southern Syria.
The attack comes despite the ceasefire agreed between Israel and the Shiite militia Hezbollah in June this year.
