The lock group Assa Abloy reports an operating result excluding comparative distortions of 6.42 billion kronor for the year's third quarter.
This can be compared to the profit of 6.26 billion kronor during the corresponding quarter last year.
The result was better than expected. Analysts had on average counted on 6.31 billion, according to Bloomberg.
Turnover increased 2 percent to 38.1 billion, from 37.4 billion a year earlier.
Currency effects reduced revenue by 2.2 billion or 6 percent during the recently completed quarter.
