AP7 Increases Investments in Controversial Myanmar-Linked Firms

The Seventh AP Fund has invested just over two billion kronor in companies that do business with the military junta in Myanmar, writes Di.

This includes, among other things, the Indian Bharat Electronics, which has sold a weapons station to the junta that is said to have been used in attacks on civilians.

AP7 has also invested in Japanese telecom giants that help the junta-controlled Myanmar Post and Telecommunications build up the country's network capacity, the newspaper writes.

Recently, SVT reported that the Swedish AP funds have invested billions in companies that the UN accuses of violating international law and human rights in Gaza.

Among other things, in the IT company Palantir, which makes software for AI and combat management, and which has close cooperation with Israel.
