The four people, two men and two women, were arrested by French police on Tuesday morning. One of the men is now in custody on suspicion of "aggravated theft in an organized gang" and "incitement to criminal activity," Le Figaro reports.
He is believed to be part of the core group of four people who broke into the world-famous museum in Paris on October 19. The robbers took a range of jewelry and jewels worth the equivalent of almost a billion kronor, and the coup shook all of France.
The robbery was carried out using a step car and lasted only seven minutes. The jewels have not yet been recovered.
With the arrest, all four of the core group have been arrested. The other three who were arrested on Tuesday are not believed to be part of the group that broke into the museum.
