To support innovative development in Sweden, the Social Democrats want to create a fast track for defence innovation. Additional funding for innovation support initiatives will be directed to small and medium-sized companies in the industry.
At the same time, the party wants to strengthen civil defence and focus on renewed conflict-prevention work.
"To secure our future, Sweden needs to step back onto the global stage to lead, not stand on the sidelines as a spectator," Andersson writes.
