American Military Plane Returns to Arlanda After Fire Alarm

An American military plane was forced to turn back to Arlanda after a fire alarm.

According to information to TT, it is a transport plane from the American air force that was on its way to Reykjavik. The plane is said to be a Lockheed Martin of the model KC-130.

The police received a warning alarm at 10 o'clock in the morning. According to the alarm, an aircraft that had just taken off was forced to turn back directly due to a minor fire on board.

The fire was extinguished by the crew themselves, says the police's press spokesperson Rebecka Landberg.
