In the survey, in which more than 100,000 women were interviewed between 2020 and 2024, 30.7 percent said they had experienced "physical and/or sexual violence" after the age of 15, AFP reports.
Almost one in ten said they had been physically harmed by their partner, while more than one in six - 17.2 percent - said they had experienced sexual violence or other sexual attacks.
The survey was conducted by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the European Agency for Gender Equality (EIGE).
