Only the Minister for the Elderly and Social Insurance, Anna Tenje (M), is not running for the Riksdag, reports Altinget. Other ministers are running in the autumn elections.

Eleven cabinet ministers currently lack a seat in the Riksdag, including Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer, Minister of International Development Cooperation Benjamin Dousa, and Liberal Party leader Simona Mohamsson.

Several cabinet ministers also face an uncertain future in terms of securing a seat in national politics if the Tidö parties lose the election.

Neither Housing Minister Andreas Carlson nor Civil Affairs Minister Erik Slottner is eligible for election in the Stockholm constituency for the Christian Democrats, the Altinget's review shows.

Anna Tenje is running again for city council in her hometown of Växjö.
