On Sunday, SMHI has issued a yellow warning for torrential rain in eastern Svealand and southernmost Gävleborg County. There is also a yellow warning in central Norrland for heavy rain from Sunday afternoon to Monday morning.
It will be quite wet in many places. The weather that has been there for a while now continues and low pressure and unstable weather conditions are also expected for the first half of next week. But it is quite varied during the days. Both sun and showers occur, says Linus Karlsson, meteorologist at SMHI.
But from Thursday onwards, high pressure will move in from the southwest.
It brings a little warmer air. The uncertainty is of course how far north it extends. But at the moment it looks like we in the north will also have temperatures approaching the 25-degree mark. And in the southern half of the country, just over the 25-degree mark.
The warmer spell appears likely to continue into the second half of next week, according to Linus Karlsson.
